We're empowering people in Vallejo to take pride in our city by improving public and natural areas, supporting public art, and creating spaces where people feel connected to their community. Through grassroots action, community stewardship, and beautification efforts, we aim to celebrate and strengthen the unique culture, ecology, and creative spirit of Vallejo.
Vallejo has so much natural beauty to offer: 30+ parks, miles and miles of trails, the beginning section of the Napa Valley Vine Trail, beautiful wetlands, wildlife preserves, classic California rolling hills... We're connecting the Vallejo community to our natural areas, exploring the unexplored, highlighting the abundance, and providing stewardship of these lands so that they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
We want Vallejo to become the epicenter of the Bay Area's public art scene. As artists are displaced from high cost of living areas like San Francisco and Oakland, Vallejo has become home to a vibrant artist community. We're working to create an arts corridor of sculptures and murals in Vallejo to rival our neighbor Napa's amazing Rail Arts District, Atlanta's Beltline, or New York's High Line. Call us crazy and then help us make it happen.
Through our cleanup and beautification efforts, we're giving Vallejo's trails, parks, and public spaces a sometimes much needed facelift. We take great pride in our city and one of the ways we do so is by cleaning it up. By doing good work and being seen doing good work, we're fostering pride among the Vallejo community and creating citizen volunteers out of everyone from 60-year Vallejo residents to newcomers.
