Join your friends at Vallejo Hike Club for a hike AND some nature journaling! This hike will be led by our very own Erin McGarry, Professional Artist, who will walk through some basics of nature journaling. All you need in order to participate in the journaling is any sort of journal/paper (we'll be providing some paper as well), a clipboard or hard-backing to draw on, and your art instrument of choice (pen, pencil, crayons, markets, watercolors...) Beginners AND experts welcome!
We're hoping to make these kind of "guided" or themed hikes a regular occurrence, so we'd love to get your thoughts: what do you want to learn? What sort of themes would you be interested in? Know any experts who would want to lead a hike? Let us know!
